That's right, the snow is coming down with a vengeance, and the team at Backcountry Snowcats is looking forward to another epic season of cat skiing and boarding. We have new faces, new toys, new packages, and of course new snow on the way.
New Packages...
This year powder seekers have 5 packages to choose from, including snowmobiling options. Choose from 3-Day Mid Week Trips, 2-Day Weekend Trips, our new Private Big Mountain Experience, Snowmobiling Tours, and Custom Adventures.
New Faces...
Joining the guiding team this year we have Glen Kaleka, an experienced ACMG guide who'll be squeezing some much anticipated early season guiding with us, in between his summer of surfing in Tofino and mid-winter guiding in Bella Coola. Meanwhile, the guide/tail guide duo of Chris Atkinson and Angela Bueckert are returning this year for more fun in the white stuff.
On the Lodge front, Verdell Jessup and Gail Morrison will be joining us as Lodge hostess / cooks, keeping you comfortable and well fed for another day of skiing. And don't be surprised if they're out there on the snow with you, choosing to work at Backcountry Snowcats wasn't a coincidence.
New Toys...
Cats, cats, and more cats. We've added a 3rd Pisten Bully snowcat to our fleet this year to strengthen our operation.
Off the snow, our new hot tub is in, the new TV lounge and social area is ready, and some reorganization of the lodge should make your evenings even more comfortable.
And we get a new toy too - our new satellite phone system at lodge, making it even easier to book your trip this year. Just give us a shout at 1 866 430 3508 and we might actually pick up this year!
And The Not So New...
Not everything needs to be new this year. We've still got the same epic snow, the same good crew, and most importantly, a lot of returning guests this season who we're looking forward to shredding with. Thanks for coming back, and we'll see you this winter!
