Yesterday and todays snow add up to 26 cm in 24 hrs. The snow is fantastic right now!

Current weather system moving through the area will continue to deliver light snow on through the night. Winds will not be a major factor overnight and tempertures will average a little below zero.

Periods of light snow are expected Monday, with the snow becoming showery in nature. Light to moderate winds are expected, with temepratures remaing  below zero.

Snowfall breaks up on Wednesday, with occasional light snowfall returning Thursday. Temepratures will warm up a few degrees Thursday, but we expect readings to remain below zero.

Summer 07 Updates

We are busy this summer adding new access to some of our best tree skiing, and an additional 3 km of roads will be added to take you to the deepest of deep tree skiing.

The lodge is under renovation with an improved lounge with hi speed satellite Internet and TV. A new dinning room with more seating will welcome guests next winter. Also added this summer, a fire pit close to the lodge to enjoy those bright star lit nights.

We are adding new activities for those that want to bring non-skiing or riding family and friends. 8 km of new snowshoe trails will loop right from the Lodge. Offering a casual stroll in the valley for photography and wildlife viewing. We will also be able to offer an 18km cross-country skiing trail for those who what to cruise the area or seriously train for the 2010 Olympics.

A new photo contest for the best client taken picture of the deepest pow or best air. This will be judged by our guides and lodge staff winner takes home a weekend ski trip for 08-09 season.

BSL will continue to cooperate with the local snowmobile clubs and provide grooming for the Hurley pass road and maintain the snowline parking areas.
