Snowcats Run Rampant in 2008

Backcountry Snowcats is up and kicking for the 2007/08 season, with some epic trips already behind us and plenty more coming through 2008. Located at the summit of the Hurley Pass north of Pemberton and south of the cult-classic snowmobiling hub of Bralorne, we've got access to all the goods you could ever ask for, and the snow to cover it. It's been an incredible season so far, with more snow in December and early January than we know what to do with, except of course... to ski or ride it. Another season of backcountry adventures is ahead of us—with deep snow, a quintessential Canadian backcountry setting, good company, and no hype.

Here's a few photos from a recent group on the first weekend of 2008, and a new video from the same weekend.

Owners/operators Reg and Kathy are lovin' it again this season, excited about the revamped kitchen in the lodge, the new roads giving access to even more terrain, the soon-to-be-added hot tub, and of course, the snow. The pair have been pioneers in the Backcountry around Whistler and Pemberton for 25 years and now extend an invitation to you to join us for a couple of days of good company and incredible skiing and riding.
