Yesterday and todays snow add up to 26 cm in 24 hrs. The snow is fantastic right now!

Current weather system moving through the area will continue to deliver light snow on through the night. Winds will not be a major factor overnight and tempertures will average a little below zero.

Periods of light snow are expected Monday, with the snow becoming showery in nature. Light to moderate winds are expected, with temepratures remaing  below zero.

Snowfall breaks up on Wednesday, with occasional light snowfall returning Thursday. Temepratures will warm up a few degrees Thursday, but we expect readings to remain below zero.

Backcountry Snowcats is co-sponsoring amateur sports car racing with the Sports Car Club of BC. The 2010 Honda Challenge is a race between the popular Honda cars like the CRX, Civic, S2000 and Acura Integras. The local drivers battle it out for a Weekend Ski Trip prize donated by BSL. Come on out to The Rivers Edge Circuit in Mission BC just 45 min east of Vancouver on Aug 7,8 2010. Practice and qualifying start at 9 am both days.
