Yesterday and todays snow add up to 26 cm in 24 hrs. The snow is fantastic right now!

Current weather system moving through the area will continue to deliver light snow on through the night. Winds will not be a major factor overnight and tempertures will average a little below zero.

Periods of light snow are expected Monday, with the snow becoming showery in nature. Light to moderate winds are expected, with temepratures remaing  below zero.

Snowfall breaks up on Wednesday, with occasional light snowfall returning Thursday. Temepratures will warm up a few degrees Thursday, but we expect readings to remain below zero.

O'Neill Europe chooses Backcountry Snowcats

The O'Neill clothing company had a successful 10 day photo shoot at Backcountry Snowcats for their 2008/09 winter catalogue.

The team showed off all the great new designs for next year. Team O'Neill athletes and photographers traveled from around the world to find the perfect backcountry location for filming.

Athletes including Jeremy Jones, Mitch Toelderer, Eirik Haugo, Fredrik Evensen, Sebastien Toutant, Loris & Nicolas Falquet, Birgit (Bibi) Pekarek, Caroline Beliard, Mariapia Ghedina, and Ariane Aubut rode the backcountry showing off the new clothing for O'Neill. Production Manager, Marc Van Laar said the team enjoyed the terrain, snow conditions and the real backcountry atmosphere at the Hurley Lodge.
