Yesterday and todays snow add up to 26 cm in 24 hrs. The snow is fantastic right now!

Mid mountain base 280 cm

Temp -3

Current weather system moving through the area will continue to deliver light snow on through the night. Winds will not be a major factor overnight and tempertures will average a little below zero.

Periods of light snow are expected Monday, with the snow becoming showery in nature. Light to moderate winds are expected, with temepratures remaing  below zero.

Snowfall breaks up on Wednesday, with occasional light snowfall returning Thursday. Temepratures will warm up a few degrees Thursday, but we expect readings to remain below zero.

Oakley's Eero Ettala Video Part

This little video should help tie over the snow addicts out there, for a little while at least. Oakley released the Eero Ettala part recently, which includes footage shot from his trip to Backcountry Snowcats during the 09/10 winter.

It is a great little edit, heavy hits and all, and Eero is deservedly one of the most talented snowboarders around today. Watch out for the bluebird powder booter shots at Backcountry Snowcats. OH yeah! Were looking forward to more of this in the winter of 2010/11, until then, enjoy daydreaming with the aid of this video.
