Yesterday and todays snow add up to 26 cm in 24 hrs. The snow is fantastic right now!

Current weather system moving through the area will continue to deliver light snow on through the night. Winds will not be a major factor overnight and tempertures will average a little below zero.

Periods of light snow are expected Monday, with the snow becoming showery in nature. Light to moderate winds are expected, with temepratures remaing  below zero.

Snowfall breaks up on Wednesday, with occasional light snowfall returning Thursday. Temepratures will warm up a few degrees Thursday, but we expect readings to remain below zero.

Our Location

The Hurley Pass is home to our cat skiing operation and is located just north of Pemberton in the south Chilcotin Mountains—a 3.5 hour trip from Vancouver on Highway 99 to Pemberton. We will meet you and your group in Pemberton. We can also arrange Whistler pick up for large groups. We've taken the liberty of compiling some driving instructions from Vancouver. If you are meeting us in Pemberton for the start of your trip, please meet at 4 pm on the day of your arrival at the Pony Espresso Cafe, 1392 Portage Rd. Pemberton, BC V0N 2L0

Brief Instructions

  • Arrive in Vancouver, B.C.
  • Pick up signs for Hwy 99 North
  • Take Hwy 99 through Squamish, Whistler
  • Arrive in Pemberton
  • Vancouver Airport to Pemberton
  • Distance: 145 kilometres or 90 miles
  • Drive east out of the airport on Grant McConachie Way
  • Follow the Hwy 99 North signs over the Arthur Lang Bridge onto Granville Street
  • Follow Granville Street north crossing the Granville Street Bridge
  • Shift to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit
  • Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street
  • Turn left onto Georgia Street
  • Follow Georgia Street out of downtown Vancouver and over the Lions Gate bridge
  • Exit the bridge on the Marine Drive West turnoff
  • Shift to the far right lane once on Marine Drive
  • Take the first right onto Taylor Way
  • Travel up the hill and turn left onto Highway 1
  • Take Exit 2 (just before the ferry terminal) to Hwy 99
  • Follow Hwy 99 to Pemberton (145 km/90 miles)
