'Fans For Powder!' Contest Rules & Regulations

How to Enter

Simply become a Fan of Backcountry Snowcats on FaceBook, watch the video then look out for the 'Fans of Powder' contest questions. The answers to the questions will come directly from the video. Be the first fan to answer the video related question correctly and you go into the draw to win the grand prize.

We will be asking questions randomly for 3 consecutive weeks. During this time the video will be up on Facebook as well as on www.snowcats.ca. The first person to reply correctly to each question will go into the draw to win the “Grand Prize” of a cat skiing trip.

To enter, go to the Backcountry Snowcats FaceBook Page, become a fan, watch the video and keep an eye out for official contest questions. No purchase is necessary.

The contest begins at 12:00 pm (PST) on February 1, 2010 and will end at 12:00pm (PST) February 21, 2010. Limit one winning entry per person.

All entries that are incomplete, irregular, or do not meet the rules below may be disqualified.

The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

Who is Eligible

Backcountry Snowcats ‘Fans for Powder’ contest (the 'Contest') is open to residents of Canada and legal residents of the United States of whom have reached the age of majority. Void where prohibited by law.

Privacy

By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest and to provide semi-frequent Backcountry Snowcats e-mail newsletters, which can be unsubscribed to at any time. Backcountry Snowcats will not sell or share this information with anyone.

The Prize

The contest closes February 21, 2010, after which the Backcountry Snowcats staff will randomly select a winning entrant from the correct entries.

The prize is a $1,497 CAD credit (not including GST) towards a 2010/11 Backcountry Snowcats mid week cat skiing based package. The contest winner is invited to bring a guest at 20% off the regular rate. The prize credit is not valid towards our snowmobiling packages. The credit is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value.

Entrant and Winner Information

Backcountry Snowcats will contact the selected winner by FaceBook, phone or email on or about March 15, 2010. If the winner is unable to collect the prize they receive no cash value or rain check and no further winner will be selected, unless the first selected winner does not respond within 15 days of being contacted. If 15 days passes after Backcountry Snowcats first attempts to contact the winner and the winner fails to reply and confirm, a new winner will be selected. The prize is non-transferable.

The winner will be required to sign a waiver before participating in the trip.

The winner is solely responsible for any costs incurred outside of what is specified in the prize above. Transportation to and from Pemberton is NOT included in any of Backcountry Snowcats packages.

Entrants acknowledge that this is Backcountry Snowcats contest, and that by entering the contest they have read, acknowledged, and understood the rules and conditions.
